Suriya Guest

Siriya Guest had a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were always smiling. Dinner was delicious and plentiful, the service was excellent, and breakfast came in a huge spread of tasty Sri Lankan dishes. We stayed just one night, and it was quiet and secluded. Our room was big, spotless, well equipped, and had a very comfortable bed. The owner and staff greeted us warmly and were genuinely kind and friendly, ready to help with anything. Excellent value, close to the town centre. Highly recommended, thank you very much!

The people at Suriya made this the hardest place to leave. The food was so good, the shared areas were cozy, and there was even a fireplace to sit around. When I wasn’t feeling well, they helped me with some meds. The whole team went out of their way to make us comfortable, and the food and service were next level. We had mountain and lake views all around, and our room had all the right touches, including a lamp, heater, tea kettle, and the essentials. The bed was super cozy, and the shower was hot with really good pressure. This was hands down the best stay of our nearly four months travelling, a five-star experience at Siriya guesthouse. They also believe in sustainable tourism and supporting the community around them, including running a school for special needs children. If you’re in the Nuwara Eliya area, I highly recommend staying here. Thanks to the whole team for the warmth and hospitality. We hope we get lucky enough to visit again.

We stayed three days and two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The reception staff and helpers were lovely, and the coffee shop and breakfast were simply awesome. We loved the hotel, the room, and the staff. Everything seemed fantastic. Ravi and family from Malaysia strongly recommend this place if you’re in Nuwara Eliya.

We only passed through this time, but the fresh weather and beautiful area made a refreshing change. It really feels a little European, and we’ll stay longer when we come back. Mr Maxy Jerad was so kind, attentive, and patient with my Wife and I, a real credit to the team. Breakfast porridge was one of the best we’ve ever had, and the fresh fruit and juices were great. We didn’t try their speciality coffees, though they looked popular. Dinner was nice too. You must try the dolphin (just a name!) kottu, one of my favorite dishes so far.
