Top Rich Hotel Nuwara Eliya

The food was the standout for us, every meal was delicious, fresh, and tasted high quality. We stayed with family and found the room spacious, comfortable, and equipped with what we needed. It faced Gregory lake, with a lovely view, and the hospitality was great. Highly recommended!

The bed was comfortable, and Nawaraeliya itself was fantastic. We loved the town, the views, and its overall feel. The hotel was a different story: the welcome was poor, and the young staff seemed disorganized. The bathroom basin leaked onto the floor whenever we used the tap, there weren’t enough towels, and the shower gel bottle was half full and appeared to have been used already. There was tea in the room but no coffee sachets. We were told breakfast would be available from 7:30, but it wasn’t. I’d advise against staying unless you’re on a very low budget.

The balcony had a lovely scenic view, and the hotel is right by Gregory lake. My family and I stayed here and found it a good place to stay in nueraeliya. The manager, Mr Mahela, was nice, and the people were friendly and welcoming.

The rooms were neat and tidy, with amazing views of lake Gregory, and they didn’t feel cold at all. The employees were really friendly when we stayed here a while ago. It can get a little crowded, but it’s still a very good hotel. I’d recommend it.
