Arabella on Boossa

I stayed in an ocean view room, and drifting off to the sound of the waves was so soothing and memorable. The amenities were a lovely bonus, including bathroom items, coffee, biscuits and fresh fruit. The linen bathrobe was fantastic. I would honestly have bought one if it had been for sale 🙂 The staff really made my stay. The owners and team seem completely in sync, and everything felt sincere and heartfelt. The atmosphere was easygoing, with staff nearby when needed but never in the way. The beachfront is great, though December waves can be quite strong and daunting if you’re not an experienced swimmer. The pool is small for swimming, but good for a quick cool-off and especially nice for kids. We were out exploring a lot, so didn’t need it much. It’s a convenient base for tuk-tuks to Galle, Mirissa and other nearby places, and a nice place to return to after seeing Bawa’s sites around Bentota or Galle. Highly recommended, and I’d happily come back. BIG thanks again to Rohan and the Team. :)

Five days at Arabella still didn’t feel like enough. The quiet beachfront is just outside Galle, about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away. The staff were incredible, and Rohan was especially helpful with our questions and recommendations. Food was unbeatable, and cleanliness, amenities and the team’s helpfulness were all perfect. Couldn’t recommend it more.

A big thank you to Rohan, the hotel manager. From greeting us warmly to fixing a small room problem straight away, they were professional and incredibly helpful, making sure all the details of our stay were right. Their leadership is a big reason I’d recommend this hotel.

The food was outstanding, and the hotel’s design and curation were gorgeous. We loved our four nights at Arabella, it was blissful, relaxing and so comfortable. The staff made the stay feel special, with Rogan, Nipun, Nuwan, Sithum, Rukshan and teams all so welcoming and attentive. We really appreciated their service.
