It felt more like being at home than staying in a luxury hotel, and the personnel were friendly and helped us with everything. The beach was only about 10 feet away, with a great view. If you want a peaceful vacation by the sea, this is a good place. They told us they have special plans during the season, but we missed them. Welcome to everyone else who gets to see them.
Beach lovers will like that it's right on the sand, and it's a good fit for young groups and beach parties. The rooms are okay, though there's no air conditioning. Parking is by the roadside, but they arrange a safe place for the car overnight.
We loved the atmosphere and the view at Honey Beach. The crew gave incredible service and made our stay memorable. Honey Beach felt like heaven on earth. I'd highly recommend Honey Beach Pitiwella for anyone looking for a little getaway.
Please read the comments before booking. I booked for December 24, 2021, and the service was very poor. We asked to have the whole place without anyone else, but the service partner spent time in the villa with friends and disturbed us several times. None of the bathrooms had locks. Please improve the service and communicate kindly with customers.
Getting to the beach and sea is difficult and dangerous because rocks block the way and are hard to climb. Access isn't easy at all. They should put in a proper ladder to make it easier to reach the beach.
