We were 15 people, and from the start it felt like our presence was a nuisance. They put us in a room like a school classroom, saying the main restaurant couldn't be given to us because it might disturb the foreign guests staying there. It came across as clear disregard for local customers, and the discrimination was deeply disappointing. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and seemed unsure how to speak with guests. Nobody explained the arrangement properly or apologized, and they made no effort to offer another option or help us feel comfortable. We were left to accept the poor setup as it was. I've rarely had such a bad experience at a hospitality business. The visit left all of us very dissatisfied. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially to locals, since it seemed to prioritize foreign guests over the standards every paying customer deserves.

Our rooms were spacious, though they could use better upkeep and newer amenities. The pool service was also underwhelming, and staff were inefficient when we needed help. The location worked well for our visit to the Yapahuwa rock fortress, and this seemed like the only decent lodging option in Yapahuwa. Food was very basic and could have tasted better. Since tea was served in the room, they wouldn't provide tea or coffee at breakfast unless we paid for it separately. Service and food both need improvement.

Customer satisfaction didn't seem to matter much here. The service response was poor, with little discipline and not much respect shown to locals. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing.

The surroundings are amazing, and check-in was quick. We were warmly welcomed by Reception, and the staff were friendly and always around. The technical team was ready to help if anything needed repairing. There was a huge range of quality food for all meals, and the rooms and pool were clean. The rooms were well maintained, too. You can also find bicycle rides, a large ground, mini golf, and a billiard table, so check with the hotel if you're interested in those. Definitely a five-star experience, highly recommended 🤝❤
