Rainforest Nature House

Dumith and his family are such kind people. We wish we'd been able to stay much longer and hope to come back. Their beautiful hut is tucked into the forest, with the most stunning view we've had on our trip. Sri Lanka's pearl. Thank you 🧡

The owner cooked our meals himself, and the food was delicious, freshly made, and very reasonably priced. He's also a skilled cook and a warm, friendly person who made us feel at home. Service throughout our two nights was thoughtful and excellent. My wife and I will never forget this stay at Rainforest Nature House. The room was cozy and clean, and its balcony looked out on peaceful scenery and an incredible mountain view. The whole place is surrounded by beautiful nature. We'd highly recommend it for a relaxing break in nature, and we'll definitely return.

The guide on our rainforest adventure was amazing, and the experience was beautiful. The views and food were incredible too. The local food was the best I've had in Srilanka, and the kindness and hospitality were unmatched. Trust me, if you want to see SriLanka, come for a visit. 🥰

The view and the peaceful sounds of nature were incredible, and we had a lovely stay. The hosts were kind, the food was delicious, and it was easy to communicate with them. Our bed was comfortable and the fan worked. Getting to the cottage can be tricky, though, especially after rain when the stones turn slippery. I’d recommend visiting, but the room could be cleaner and a little cozier. A thicker sheet for the night would help too. Otherwise, everything was fine 🙈
