The old villa has been renovated to a really high standard, with antiques throughout. It’s a lovely spot to unwind at the end of the day, and the AC worked perfectly. There was plenty of hot water with good pressure, too. Charminda, the caretaker, took great care of us, and we also met the owner, who was a great chap and clearly passionate about preserving the historic place.

The kids made good use of the spacious garden and pool, and we all enjoyed the tasty food. Bethany101 is a well-kept villa with lots of antique ornaments inside. Chaminda and the staff were helpful and took care of everything we needed. We had a lovely time there.

We stayed March 30-31, and the quiet setting made for a really relaxing visit. The rooms were clean and tidy, with distinctive British-style interiors, and the antique architecture throughout the hotel was beautiful. The food went well beyond what we expected. The staff were very friendly, especially the manager, Mr.Rajapaksha, whose service was excellent. Highly recommend this place, you should try it!

We came for a planned meeting and had a great experience. The staff, including the Madam, were very supportive and accommodating. Bethany 101 in Puttalam is a peaceful historic venue that works well for meetings and gatherings. They offer day packages, and charge the location fee by the hour. It’s well maintained and serene, with a lot of history. Highly recommended!

Even though it’s right in the middle of town, it still feels quiet. The garden is lush and well looked after, with a small pool beside this beautifully renovated colonial-style bungalow. The rooms are spacious, the staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious. Their fish options are especially good.
