Dinner on the beach on our last night was a great experience, and the clean pool and beach chairs in different styles made it easy to relax. The staff were friendly, and for a hotel this size the food was good. The rooms are spacious with a modern look, and they were very clean, but upkeep seems to be a struggle. There were stains on the walls, floors and curtains. At over $120 a night in Sri Lanka, I'd expect better, though it might be less of an issue at a cheaper place. The hotel is in a great beachfront location and is a good option if you want to stay on this stretch of Sri Lanka's coast. Massages are available at good rates, and there's often a free morning yoga class. I do recommend staying, as long as you're not expecting luxury. Better maintenance would help justify the price compared with similar places.

The beach currents were so strong that we gave up on swimming there, though the pool was refreshing. I loved the free yoga classes every morning from 8 to 9, and my husband even tried yoga for the first time and enjoyed it. Dinner on the beach by torchlight was a lovely romantic touch, and it was free. We also enjoyed the pool bar's cold beer and cocktails served on the beach, plus the relaxing massages at the spa. The property has five small, two-storey houses with two suites each. We were in room 5, upstairs, with a neighboring wall view and only a partial beach view. The two front houses are the ones with the best views. Our room didn't have a great outlook, but it was still very nice, we didn't mind, and we could hear the sea. There are nice beaches for swimming nearby, including Silnce beach and Hireketcha, about 40 minutes away by tuk-tuk. The food was good, though not the best we had in Sri Lanka. Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was great.

The evenings here are special: the beach is set for dinner, with camels and fires lit, and the food is delicious. We had lunch and dinner, and both were great. The staff were fantastic and had lots of recommendations. Viktor deserves a special thank-you for greeting us with a smile each morning, helping with our bike, and sharing great trip tips. The hotel is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The beach is quieter than many others, and there are plenty of loungers and places to sit, as well as a pool. A lovely place to relax and swim.

I spent three nights at this small, private hotel and really enjoyed how peaceful it was. There was no noise, and it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The pool was refreshing, and the food was good, especially the porridge each morning. I also booked two massages, and both were great. A good place to unwind for a few days.

The manager took great care of us and organized all kinds of excursions. We felt so welcome and spoiled, and the whole stay was perfect. A great hotel with an even better staff.
