We made this place our home away from home during a month-long stay. It's wonderfully quiet, right beside what felt like Sri Lanka's best beach, and the pool has a great view over the water. The hosts looked after us so well and helped with anything we needed. We'll be back.

Petr was so friendly and took care of arranging trips, deliveries and taxi pickups for us. From the private pool, it's just five steps to the beach, making this a great base for exploring southern Sri Lanka. The waves can be big and the current strong, so take care if you swim. Monkeys were the only real nuisance around: they stole our mangoes, ate some on the roof, then threw them back at us.

We spent 11 nights here with friends, and it was the sort of peaceful place where you can unwind in the tropical sun with the waves in the background. The huge beach is only a few steps from the pool, and we enjoyed every minute. Iva was a fantastic host. I hope we can return next year.
