Kayaam Wellness

We came in by accident while looking for a nearby restaurant, then stayed for a light dinner. The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh, and the banana flower salad was a lovely starter. For the main, we had delicious linguine with prawns, followed by a tasty panda cottage dessert. Everything was beautifully presented and seasoned just right. The arched dining area made for a lovely, romantic table. Staff were attentive and kind, and both the manager and chef came over afterward to ask how we’d enjoyed the meal. We’re already planning another trip to see them on Tangalle.

We spent two nights here at the start of our honeymoon week, and the calm atmosphere was just what we wanted. Dinesh, Damika, the Doctors and the rest of the team looked after us so well. They even sent someone to the local pharmacy to pick up something we needed. Such a great stay, and I’d gladly return.

The cooking class was a fun way to learn about Sri Lankan food, and we also loved the relaxing spa treatments. The meals were exceptional, too. Kayaam House is a lovely, peaceful escape, and the whole team was so welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back.

We stayed for five days, and even my work video calls went smoothly because the internet was stable and good. The spa experiences were a highlight, especially the steam massage, which I’d definitely recommend. They also have saunas with ocean views and capuchinos with oat or almond milk. Add the lovely beach sunsets and incredible team, and we had everything we needed.
