For the price, the rooms are unbeatable, and having a restaurant right in the complex is really convenient. The owner and his wife were the friendliest, loveliest people I met in Sri Lanka. They were always ready to help or offer advice, and their English was excellent. I’d definitely recommend the place, and I’d stay again myself.

I stayed at Sigiriya Prince Villa across the road during the last part of my 6-day sightseeing tour. The ground-floor room was large, with a big bathroom, and the location was quiet. Dinner was very good, especially the Sri Lankan curry, which they toned down for me, along with a welcome cold local beer. After my early morning visit to the palace and fortress, I had breakfast. The owner and staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I’d certainly stay here again.

The host was courteous and very helpful, and the rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained. The hotel offers both budget and luxury accommodation, and its location is handy for reaching Sigiriya Lion's rock and Pidurangala rock.

In Sigiriya, I’d avoid places with “Prince” in the name. They may take you to the fake 'Prince Ayurvedic Spice Garden' and quickly empty your pockets. Luckily, this was the only tourist trap I ran into in Sri Lanka.

The villa has a lovely garden, and the rooms come with air conditioning. The bathroom was clean, and the owners were kind and helpful. Convenient and highly recommended!
