Sigiri Suncap Cottage

The owner was so friendly, and the cottage was clean and very well looked after. It's in a lovely, leafy place where it stays quiet. The village food and drop were fresh and tasty, and family trips are always good.

We stayed in one of the two cottages in a peaceful setting. Our family was given a free dinner for one night, with delicious snacks too. The driver room facilities are available as well. At night we saw an elephant walking along the fence line. It was the first time in my life I’d seen how elephants behave at night. Path Valley is a beautiful place. Thank you, we’ll come back.

You can have a quiet, undisturbed break here, and the meals are tasty and reasonably priced. The cottage owner is friendly, with rooms available for couples as well as families. SIGIRI SUNCAP COTTAGE is in a beautiful natural setting near Sigiriya, a good option if you’re planning a holiday in the area.

We spent three days here for our honeymoon and stayed in the couple’s cottage. It was clean, with a spacious bathroom, and there was cable TV. There’s no AC, but the surroundings are cool enough that we didn’t find it a problem. The property has three adjoining rooms, a couple’s cottage, and a family cottage. The owner was polite and really helpful. Dinner is optional, and he can make fried rice or noodles if you ask. Both were delicious. There’s a separate dining area, though dinner can also be brought to your room. For other meals, you can buy food outside or ask the owner to arrange an order. The cottage is easy to find along the Dambulla - Trinco road, about 50 m from Digampathaha junction. Would recommend 💯.
