Water Garden Sigiriya

We spent a lot of time by the pool and also had a very relaxing massage in the spa. The hotel arranged an elephant safari with pickup, and Mithun sorted transport for sightseeing in Sigiriya and Dambulla. Our butler Mithun was amazing, and all the staff were attentive. Breakfast and dinner were brilliant, with European and local options. We borrowed a couple of pedal bikes to ride around the hotel during the day. Housekeeping was the best we’ve had, thanks to Latiru, Thisara, Lakmal, and Kavindu. They left the room spotless each day, and the towel animals were a special touch. Unforgettable stay with my wife, we enjoyed every minute.

The views at Water Garden Sigiriya Hotel are beautiful, and the calm atmosphere and helpful staff made a great impression. Jahn and his reservation team deserve special thanks. Jahn was kind and dedicated throughout the booking process, going above and beyond to make sure everything was right. It’s a lovely fit for anyone who enjoys nature, comfort, and great service. I’d love to return.

We stayed at Water Garden Sigiriya in the off-season and loved our Duplex Twin Villa with its plunge pool. It felt like a small luxury house, surrounded by nature and wonderfully quiet. The staff were flexible and personalized, even extending our checkout until 3:00pm. Coming as a local guest in the off-season was a great decision. Highly recommend!

The room was huge, with a beautiful view of Lion’s rock from the window, and the staff were always helpful and quick to respond. We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. From arrival, the calming views and atmosphere made the hotel feel luxurious. For vegan and vegetarian food, the chef Sujit and waiter Salidu suggested some special dishes from the à la carte breakfast and dinner on half board, and they were very tasty. I’d highly recommend this hotel.
