The garden was breathtaking, and our room had a comfortable bed and air conditioning that worked really well. Shiromi cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners for us, and the host family were lovely and keen to help with whatever we needed. We booked breakfast as part of our stay, while dinner was an extra charge that we chose day by day, at a lower price. The setting is calm and away from the chaos, with the beach about a two-minute walk away. Restaurants and small shops for water and other bits are around, and a larger, more European-style grocery store, Keells, is within walking, riding, or driving distance. We loved it so much we extended our stay twice. It's a great base for the south coast.

The garden is beautiful, the place is away from the noisy road, and there are lots of beaches nearby. Our rooms were clean and spacious. The whole family running the place was welcoming and so kind, and they made our trip to Sri Lanka amazing. I can't say enough about what a wonderful cook the mother is. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

We arrived planning to stay three nights and ended up adding two more because we liked it so much. The family welcomed us warmly and helped us feel at home straight away. We were also grateful for a room upgrade. They cooked for us twice and helped with our laundry during the stay. We really appreciated their kindness and hospitality, and would definitely recommend the place.

The dinner they made for us was super tasty, and it was waiting on the table outside our room. Such a cute touch. We're enjoying our first night here and already looking forward to the next two. The room was very clean, and the family are really welcoming. The beach is an easy walk, and the shops are about five to ten minutes away.

Shiromi and her family were so welcoming and helpful, and she made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. The setting is peaceful, with easy access to lots of beautiful beaches. Our room was huge and had everything we needed, including a kettle and drinking water.
