We stayed in six different places on our budget trip around Sri Lanka, and this was the best one. The room was clean and comfortable, and the host was kind and helpful. He even got our car repaired quickly for a very low price. Definitely worth staying here!

We had a lovely stay at Eagle Homestay. The garden is beautiful, the kitchen has everything you need, the rooms have air conditioning, and everything was very clean. The host is super friendly and happy to help with anything. We also really recommend the restaurant Ask umami teppanyaki &sushi on the corner. Asanka's excellent service, passion, and skill made the food a must-try if you're in Tangalle.

There's a large, green garden around the property, and even a rabbit running about. The bedrooms each have air conditioning. Just keep in mind that only the first floor is in use, the second floor is closed.
