The family made our stay so much nicer. They're lovely people with gorgeous kids, and they work hard to give great service, going above and beyond to make it a good stay. The room was very reasonably priced, well maintained, and clean. We had a beautiful stay in Tangalle at this hostel, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The room was spotless, and everyone was so welcoming, including the lovely kids :). We had a delicious, very generous evening meal for 1200LKR, which was great value. A lovely family-run homestay/hostel.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, and the stay was clean and affordable. The homemade curry was honestly the best we’ve ever eaten. We also joined the homestay’s safari, which was well organized. For a little extra, they dropped us right in Ella, saving us loads of time. One of our best stays in Sri Lanka. Thanks for the great hospitality!

We had a spacious double room with UK plugs, and could park our tuktuk inside the residence. It was very humid, so the room felt warm, but the ceiling fan and standing fan helped. The host and her family were lovely and friendly, and we had some great chats with her and her husband. Their young kids are very cute and curious. We really enjoyed our stay at the Nest Residence, and the evening meal was amazing, both delicious and huge.
