It felt like a hidden little paradise in quiet Tangalle. The villa was beautiful, and Upul and Chanuka made sure we had a great stay. They served us an amazing seafood dinner and the best breakfast. The beach is just a five-minute walk away. We had such a lovely time, thank you, Upul!

I could only book one night because the place was full, but it was peaceful and the breakfast was great. The owners were very professional, and as a woman travelling alone, I felt really well looked after.

We had a truly magical time at Whispering House. The garden has an oriental atmosphere that’s hard to put into words, with its little whispers. We ate the best meals of our trip and our hosts were wonderfully kind. I hope Luna is still there.

A very relaxing, laid-back place, with a lush garden and a big terrace to unwind on. The rooms are airy and clean, and Upul is a helpful host. You can arrange a cook, nanny and more as part of your stay. This is the best place we’ve stayed in for a long time. Highly recommend.

The service was top of the top, always cheerful and helpful. It’s clean, well equipped and comfortable, and great for families. There’s a nice pool, with the ocean close by. Just perfect.
