The hosts were friendly, helpful, and spoke several languages. It’s a clean, quiet house with three floors and two rooms on each, and the rooms have large comfortable beds and air conditioning. The neighborhood feels safe and peaceful, with people who know each other, plus shops and a few restaurants nearby. The house is between Matara and Mirisa. In October '26, a bus was about 35 lkr, and either direction cost around 300 lkr. It made for a nice getaway, and I’d stay again.

Devon made our stay especially enjoyable. He was organized, supportive with everything, and cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning. We spent three nights here and found everything clean and comfortable. The surroundings are lovely, in a pleasant area between Mirissa and Madiha. We’d gladly come back.

The villa owners were lovely, and I’d like to thank them. The service was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. It’s a peaceful, scenic spot close to the sea.

Farkan does his best to make guests feel at home and comfortable throughout their stay. Halal Family Villa is spotlessly clean and set in a lovely garden, just a couple of minutes by car from busy central Mirissa. We had a very nice stay.
