The room itself was okay, clean, and had a kitchen and bedroom. But the listing said the whole house was for rent, and it turned out you only get one room while the family stays on the 1st floor. It's also faaar from the center and beach, about a 20 min walk. If you're okay with that, the place would be fine.
We came to Mirisa because Booking.com offered this room when we needed a kitchen, and it looked pretty good in the photos. But on arrival, they took us into the courtyard where the family lives, then up a narrow staircase along the side of the house. And VOILA! There was our room, like a birdhouse. It was basically clean, but everything was very small, and there was that musty, old smell. Maybe it's an acquired taste 🙄. I don't know who leaves positive reviews on Booking.com and inflates the ratings, but I didn't want to stay here.
