Upul and Lakmali made us feel so welcome. We stayed for two nights, and they arranged a full-day safari that was a great experience with a very good guide. There was plenty of tasty food for the safari, too. On our last night, I had tea with Upul and we had a lovely conversation. We left with nothing to complain about and lots of good memories. I’m sure we’ll come back.

The owner and his sister were the warmest, most welcoming hosts, and so helpful with everything. They also made us a delicious breakfast, the best we had on the island. My sister and I are Americans, and we stayed one night. The room was clean and lovely, with lots of space, a comfortable bed, a good shower and strong AC. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and Udawalawa junction is about a five-minute walk away. The elephant transit home is close, and Udawalawe national park is about a 15-minute drive. Our safari driver had no trouble picking us up here. We can't recommend this place enough!

The people here were the best part of our stay in Sri Lanka. They cared for us like family, and we felt at home from check-in to checkout, even though we were only there for one night. He responded quickly on WhatsApp and communicated really well. Upul and his sister even arranged a little birthday celebration with cake and decorations. We loved every bit of our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks, Upul, for being so kind and welcoming. If it's available, book it, you won't regret it :)

Upul and Lakmali organized our safari at a very good price, and their driver Chaminda was lovely. He speaks very good English, spotted lots of animals, and treated the animals and nature with respect. The stay was welcoming and comfortable, with new rooms in a cute garden. The beds were very comfortable, and there was AC, a mosquito net, shampoo and conditioner. Upul and Lakmali also made us a lovely dinner, all vegan for me. A great experience!

The calm garden, surrounded by nature, made this a peaceful place to unwind, and we had plenty of privacy. The staff were so friendly and ready to help, always with a smile. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. If you want a quiet stay close to nature with caring staff and good privacy, this is a great choice. Highly recommend!
