Tranquil Sanctuary Yala

The rooms felt bare, just a bed and table, with harsh white lighting, and weren’t very pleasant. Still, the location and service were great, and they looked after us well. It’s fine for a night or two, though I wouldn’t stay longer. There isn’t much to do in the city besides heading to Yala. The rice fields around are beautiful, but they also bring huge numbers of mosquitoes.

The hosts were polite and welcoming, and the place really lives up to its tranquil name. It’s tucked off the main road with lovely views, and the room was comfortable. I only came for one night before the safari, but I’d gladly have stayed longer. Nothing felt like too much trouble.

We picked Yala on the spur of the moment while we were in Hambantota, found this place on Google, and were lucky they had one room left. The owner kept a close eye on how we were doing and offered us the full package with the Yala safari. The welcome was great, and the whole place felt calm beside the lovely paddy field. I especially enjoyed walking through the fields. Our room was spacious, tidy, and clean, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Everyone liked the food and juices. We all left satisfied, and I’d visit again if I’m back around Thissa. Keep up the good work!

Tranquil Sanctuary Yala is a lovely escape from city noise, where you can unwind and reconnect with nature. The Yala National Park safari was both exciting and peaceful, with rich wildlife and the chance to spot leopards, elephants, and more. I also visited Katharagama Temple nearby. Its spiritual, calming atmosphere offered a quiet moment to reflect, and the connection to local traditions made it worthwhile. The sanctuary itself blends beautifully into the landscape. The Faddy vibes were strong throughout my stay, making it feel like a special, almost meditative retreat. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
