Owin Rose Yala Safari Hotel

The paddy field views were stunning, and Mr. Mahanama and his family were so hospitable, friendly, and helpful. My family and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Owin Rose. I’d happily recommend this hotel and hope to return.

The warmth of the family, especially the daughter, made the atmosphere feel so welcoming. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful, and we felt right at home. A wonderful stay all around, and we’d gladly come back anytime. (27.-29.12.2025)

We booked a safari through the hotel, and it was well organized. We saw four leopards. The hotel itself was really nice, well located, and good value. The owner was very kind and even offered us a taxi for the next day.

The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. We also liked the peaceful garden, a nice place to unwind after an early safari. The owner and staff were kind, friendly, and ready to help with transport, local information, and safari plans. The food was delicious, especially the fresh Sri Lankan rice and curry. Portions were generous, and the meals were prepared with care and attention to hygiene. We highly recommend Owin Rose Yala Safari for its comfortable rooms, tasty food, excellent service, and trustworthy safari arrangements. We’ll definitely return.
