The beach location is great, and the rooms were nice and clean, with really big beds. We liked the quirky layout of the resort. The food was average at best, though. Service was really bad. Staff seemed disorganized and didn't know customer service. At least three or four times, food I ordered never arrived, and on other occasions I had to remind them at least twice. They didn't seem to care. If you like hearing your own voice, you'll love having to repeat yourself to get an order brought out. The DJ played very loud music every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday until about 1am, even when the place was dead. With proper customer service training, a decent manager, and a chef, this place could be amazing. Right now, it's below average.

The beach near the hotel was clean, and the rooms were spacious with huge beds, though obviously not at a five-star level. The bar music was nice and not too loud. Receptionists and other staff were always smiling and ready to help, and the service was very good.

The beach, pool, restaurant area, and landscaping are really cool, but the rooms aren't worth what you pay. The AC didn't work, the rooms were dirty, and the shower and tap leaked in the washrooms. Customer care was poor, with no smiles or welcome. The owner doesn't seem bothered, even though renovating would be easy. The online pictures fool you. There are plenty of nice, standard rooms nearby with really good food for much cheaper.

The food was awful and far too expensive, and the whole place felt extremely budget style. Music gets amplified in the hobbit caves, which are horrendous. During one of the party nights, someone stole my water purifier.

Nice place with good prices and a good general atmosphere. Just don't expect much comfort: the mattress was foam and the AC noisy. The local food wasn't really good, not even decent rice and curry, and the pizzas took 40 minutes.
