The rooms were clean, and the place is close to spots in Trinco. But the way the owner treated us made the stay embarrassing. Even before we had settled in after checking in, he repeatedly called asking for full payment. Then he wanted us to pack our bags before 7.00am the next day and leave them outside the rooms so he could clean for the next reservation. We pointed out that checkout was at 10.00am, and said we'd leave then. We actually left at 9.00am because we had a long trip. The owner should learn to look after the departing guest and keep them happy before serving the next reservation. I won't recommend the place to anyone I know. It felt like the owner only cared about money. I don't know how foreigners are treated, but locals should beware. Visited on 11.09.2018.

A nice guesthouse about a five-minute walk from the beach. The rooms are simple but clean, and they have a fan. You can order breakfast from a menu, and it's really good.

There was a very bad smell near the rooms, like a dead animal rotting, and frogs, cockroaches, and insects were everywhere inside, in the hall, bathroom, and bedroom. The building was ugly and unfinished, and the staff were rude and unprofessional. There was no Wi-Fi, room service or housekeeping, pantry, water heater, or working AC. We booked the whole house advertised as having 5 rooms, but they had turned the pantry into a bedroom with a bed, with no room to move around. When we had problems, the owner didn't bother to come see us. The front desk guy was good for nothing.

The owners are super friendly and deserve a visit. The place is close to the beach, in a quiet, peaceful area. Rooms are clean, with a big fan, and AC is available for an extra $.
