The staff were so kind and thoughtful, and the outdoor pool was nice to come back to after a long day. Our room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with new bathroom fittings. Uppuweli beach is only a 2-3 minute walk away, and the place sits conveniently between nilaweli and marble beach. Would happily recommend it. ✨

The service staff were friendly and polite, but the owner’s manner completely soured the stay. He was dismissive and rude, and even told us to find somewhere else. We’d booked two double rooms two weeks ahead and had everything confirmed, only to find one was actually a twin. When we asked for a small discount because that hadn’t been mentioned, he lectured us that a double room could mean either two singles or one double bed. It honestly seemed like he’d given the proper double room to someone who would pay more. At 15K LKR a night without meals, the room was much too small for the price. We found a nicer hotel on the beach for less within five minutes, so that sorted it.

We’ll stay here again next time we’re in trinco. The beach is an easy walk away, and there are excellent restaurants nearby. Service was great, the food was good, and the room and surroundings were clean and hygienic. Facilities were high quality, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

He was rude, brushed off what we said, and told us to go somewhere else.
