Bluewater Beach Resort

We left soon after arriving because we weren't willing to put up with the way we were treated. We'd called to book and paid an advance, then travelled all the way from Kandy, tired and expecting a relaxing stay. The person in charge was rude from the start and spoke as though we were staying for free. He kept saying, “If you don’t like it, you can leave.” I've stayed in plenty of hotels and never met such an unwelcoming attitude. It ruined our day, and leaving felt like the only way to keep our dignity. For anyone visiting Nilaveli or Trincomalee, I'd avoid Bluewater Beach Resort. There's no hospitality or respect for guests here, and management needs to learn what customer service means.

We lost two hours out of our two-day trip dealing with this place. They should understand that guests aren't schoolchildren. Of course we're willing to follow the rules, but there's a proper way to speak to people. One staff member treated us badly, with no respect or professionalism, and management failed to handle it properly or guide him. It left a terrible impression and ruined what could have been a pleasant stay. Simply the worst place to stay.

We came hoping for a relaxing day, but got arrogance and no hospitality instead. The attendant spoke to me and my friends harshly and insultingly, in a way no professional should speak to guests. I've never had such disgusting, disrespectful treatment elsewhere. It was shocking to see visitors treated so badly. Blue Water Beach Resort showed no respect for customers, local or foreign. I'd tell both locals and tourists to skip it. There are better places nearby where people will at least show basic courtesy.

They wouldn't provide any beverages, not even drinking water. For what I paid, the service was unacceptable, and I won't stay here again or recommend it. The facilities may look good in photos, but poor management spoils the experience. Staff were disorganized, rude, and unhelpful. I complained several times and nothing changed. When I asked the manager for help, he was rude and seemed more interested in arguing than fixing the problem. He didn't appear to care about guests' comfort at all.
