Prashanth works incredibly hard to care for his beautiful animals. Every day he goes out to feed many more animals on the street, and he regularly takes in kittens he finds dumped in the forest. They are all vaccinated and neutered, and clearly live the best lives. The cats are so friendly and love pats, cuddles, and sitting on your lap. Staying here helps Prashanth keep looking after them and the street animals too. Even if you don't stay, you should absolutely visit. The location is amazing, tucked away from the crazy main road on a walkable street full of restaurants.

The animals were a highlight. Prashanth had recently rescued a dozen kittens, and watching and playing with them was such a treat. The other cats were friendly too, loved being stroked, and enjoyed playing. He was also a kind, accommodating host who helped us plan our days in Trinco and let us park our tuktuk in front of the gate. His work caring for his cats and dogs and feeding and providing water for strays in the area is a real inspiration. The room was spacious and clean, with powerful AC, a mosquito net we didn't need to use, and a water heater for the shower. The location was great, close to restaurants and cafes and within walking distance of Uppuveli beach, which ended up being our favourite. My girlfriend and I loved staying here. If you come to Trinco, stay here. You won't regret it.

Fair price and an excellent location. The owner is such a good person, and the place is full of cats and dogs he cares for. We loved that. Probably our favourite stay of the whole trip.

The rooms were the best we had in Sri Lanka: aircon, hot water, separate blankets, free filtered water, plus coffee and a fridge guests can use in the common area. The guesthouse also has a kitchen run by his mother, open during the season, and his wife is a wonderful person. There are four dogs and more than 20 cats, including lots of kittens. Say hi to Lumi!❄️ This is a haven for cat and dog lovers, but there's much more to it. Prasha runs a beautiful guesthouse and takes care of hundreds of animals in the forests of Trinco. He loves all animals equally and has dedicated his whole life to them. You can feel that care in the guesthouse, which feels like a sanctuary as much as a place to stay. I can't thank him enough for letting me hear his story in person. It was one of the most unique and meaningful stays of my travels. From the start, it felt less like arriving somewhere new and more like visiting a dear friend I'd known for years. The whole place feels full of love. The cats and dogs love to play, and this is simply the best place to stay in the Trinco area. Staying there also supports his mission. If you love cats and dogs, please spend time with them.
