The location was lovely, the rooms were nice, and the breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was quite reasonable. We had made a last-minute reservation and asked to have our family and friends on the same floor. They arranged it within 45 minutes, which impressed us. The difficult part was that someone in our group got food poisoning before we arrived. During the night, we couldn’t get hot water or assistance because the kitchen was closed and no staff were available then.

Dining at Mallika Resthouse in Trincomalee was a big disappointment. The dishes we ordered were all bland or overcooked, and none seemed fresh. The food was poor quality for what we paid, and I wouldn’t recommend eating there. There are much better choices in the area.

The rooftop gives you a view of trincomalee harbour, and the central location makes it easy to travel around trincomalee. Rooms are reasonably priced, and there’s a restaurant downstairs where you can get food. I’d recommend it for a family trip.

We stopped for lunch while traveling as a group. The staff were very friendly, and good quality food is available to suit your requirements. They also have clean, nice rooms at a reasonable price. It’s very close to Navy Dock Yard. Highly recommended.

The rooftop has a good view, and the rooms are clean and spacious. Staff were friendly, and it’s easy to get to most places. We tried one meal, but it wasn’t to our taste.
