Hearing how the owner’s family has had the property since 1936, and how carefully it was restored, gave Neem Tree House so much character. We loved the cozy garden setting for lunch or dinner, and would happily recommend it for a meal as well as a stay. We spent two nights there, and the rooms were comfortable, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful details. The welcome was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was excellent. We also enjoyed the creative mix of Italian and Sri Lankan food, all thoughtfully prepared. Such a special spot in Trincomalee 🌿

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the service was excellent. Our double room for the holiday was modern and clean, with all the facilities we needed. The food was tasty and healthy.

The dining space tucked at the back feels cozy, with lots of plants. Around the town center, the hotel is close to both the beach and the deer park. Inside, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the place has plenty of neat, homey touches. It felt like a home away from home in Trincomalee.

We had a great dinner here last time, thanks to the owner, who brings a little Italy into her choices. We’re Italian, so you can trust our recommendation: the quality was excellent and everything tasted delicious. A great restaurant, and a place that feels different from anywhere else in Trincomalee.
