Pearl Bungalow Trincomalee

The rooms were super clean, the host was amazing, and we had a great stay. It’s right on the main road and very close to the beach, with lots of cafés to explore. Scooters and bicycles are available to rent. Please book through Booking.com rather than Agoda.

We had a pleasant stay with a friendly host, and the room was great with absolutely everything thought of. Parking the tuk-tuk was easy, and the kitchen was there to use if we needed it. Thanks for the hospitality. Highly recommended.

I came to Pearl Bungalow in Trincomalee expecting to stay four days, but ended up staying almost two weeks. It was easy for me to get to the beach, shops and restaurants on the main street, while the bungalow itself sits on a quiet little side street. There are trees and flowers all around, with hammocks in the shade, so it’s a restful place. I hadn’t planned my stay well and changed rooms three times. The kind staff helped each time and even gave me discounts. Every room was very clean, had AC that was a lifesaver in the Trinco heat, and had a comfortable bed. My favorite had a balcony where I could sit for hours and enjoy the sweet view. The owner, his wife and Arthur were the kindest people. They helped with laundry, getting a birthday cake and figuring out buses, and even got up early to drive me to the bus stop. I left with a warm feeling. It felt like home, and I’d tell anyone going to Trincomalee to stay here.

We stayed three nights with my family. The place was friendly, clean and nicely set in a quiet garden, and the rooms were comfortable. The garden was calm and lovely, and the person at reception was especially friendly.
