Trinco Beach Hotel

We had a lovely evening there. The location was great, the food and cocktails were tasty, and the staff were very nice. Ask whether they have devilled seafood. It isn’t on the menu, but it’s delicious!

The location is great, right on the beachfront, and the staff, especially the kitchen staff, were very friendly. Still, the rooms really let the hotel down. Ours was tiny for the price, and over four nights it was never cleaned. We weren’t given clean towels, the bins weren’t emptied, and the shower was cold with no hot water. There was mould all over the shower curtain, too, and a lot of street noise. It’s a shame the room problems affected our stay so much.

The hotel is lovely by the beach, with delicious food and super friendly staff. Our driver for the next destination never showed up, but the lady at reception helped us find another option, and it worked out perfectly. We’re very grateful. They can also wash and dry your clothes here, and ours came back very clean.

I didn’t stay at the hotel. After sightseeing in Trincomalee, I found its bar a great place for a cold beer by the beach. The reception is bright and welcoming, the toilets are clean, and the staff were friendly. A perfect spot to relax!
