The villas are dreamy, the food is great, and the beach was our favorite, even better than Silent Beach for us. We tried hard to add more nights, but they were fully booked. No surprise after the three incredible weeks we spent travelling Sri Lanka. The staff were wonderful. I’ll keep thinking about this place.

We’ll definitely return for another dinner. The atmosphere feels private and the service was quick and very good. Every dish we tried was delicious and made with care: lobster with a tasty sauce, wasabi tuna, and a shrimp salad that wasn’t on the menu yet. The manager suggested the salad and it was a wow. Best dinner we had in Sri Lanka. Thanks to the whole Aga Surf team for creating such a great place.

The water and surf right out front were beautiful, and the food was incredible. I came with my two best friends and we had a fabulous time. It felt like a little piece of paradise, away from the crowds. The resort and the people were lovely too. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed 2-4 nights in this little oasis and really enjoyed the peace, well away from the main tourist hubs. The resort has five well appointed luxury villas, with a shared bar, restaurant and pool. Tangalle is less than 10 minutes away, and Hiriketiya Beach is close too. The cove is probably the best spot on the Sri Lankan coastline for a right hand surf break, with only a couple of surfers a day. At Hiriketiya Beach, by comparison, you can end up waiting your turn for a wave.

Our six days at Aga Surf View were wonderfully relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the gardens and pool are beautiful and well looked after. We had our own comfortable bungalow with a verandah, and the setting on Unakuruwa Beach is amazing. The food and coffee were excellent. We hope we can visit again one day.
