It's a lovely place, and I'd recommend it. There's a friendly social feel, with guests sitting outside their rooms and chatting over breakfast. The garden is beautiful, and the staff are kind and welcoming. It's tucked away from the main strip but still right in the middle of things. Our room was clean, and while the shower pressure was weak, the water was nice and hot.

We liked the beautiful design and garden, the excellent food, the friendly staff, and the good location. But our room wasn't cleaned during our 3D2N stay, and no toiletries were provided. Rats came through the shower drain every night, making noise and chewing the garbage bag in the toilet. They left droppings all over our things, and we didn't sleep at all. The room price varied a lot, and after we left I saw it listed for much less on another site. We also paid for breakfast even though it was included on other sites.

The garden is lovely, and the personnel were very kind. The rooms are clean and airconditioned, and the beach is only a few minutes away. Jungle beach is a 10 minute guide Tuk Tuk drive away.

The food was amazing, and the owner was lovely. We visited on gramophone night, with a deejay playing old music that made the atmosphere even more pleasant. It's a very good, nice Italian restaurant, highly recommended!
