I liked the atmosphere so much that I extended my stay at this hostel. Jennie and Cartoon have made it feel really welcoming, like a home away from home in Sri Lanka. It's a good fit for backpackers or anyone wanting a break off the beaten path. Sri Yoga Shala, a well-known yoga center in Sri Lanka with lovely classes, is within walking distance, and there's lots of good surfing nearby. Highly recommend!

Jennie is a super helpful host and a great cook. I loved having breakfast at the hostel every morning, and the dogs Leo and coco are lovely. One of the best hostels I've stayed in in Sri Lanka, with a really cool vibe.

I'd booked just two days and ended up staying a whole week. If I hadn't needed to go home, I probably would've stayed much longer. Cartoon, the owner, might be the greatest host ever, such a cool guy. I loved the people and the atmosphere, basically everything about the place. I'll definitely come back sometime! ❤️

The house and garden are beautiful, with colorful lights in the garden, tucked away in the Unawatuna jungle. The owners and their dogs made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes, fruit and tea. If you get the chance, stick around for one of their family barbeques!

My friend and I felt at home here, like part of a big family. The owners put so much love and effort into this cozy, beautiful place, and Jennie and her partner were helpful and made everything easy for everyone. We wish we'd had more time. It's close to Dalawella and Unawatuna beach, with free rides from the Hostel during the day. Such amazing vibes, 100% recommended. All the best to you guys! Jessy and Delfina.
