Villa is in a great spot, close to plenty of tasty food options that I reviewed on my profile. The busy beach street is a two-minute walk away, and beautiful Unawatuna beach is about five minutes away. Still, the villa itself is quiet, and you don’t hear the loud street. The rooftop has a lovely jungle view and space for a BBQ. We stayed five nights and met Buddika, a spectacular host and a great person. He prepared our spotless room, with new furniture and a pristine toilet. We didn’t see any mold. The kitchen was well equipped, so we could make tea and a fruit platter right outside the room, or cook what we wanted. There’s a fridge, AC, hairdryer, clean sheets and towels. Shower pressure was decent. I found the mattress a bit hard, though that’s a matter of taste. We had a great time and met some really cool guests. If I return to Unawatuna, I’ll definitely stay here again.
