Hideaway Trails Ella is tucked into the hills, so it feels like a quiet escape while still being close enough to Ella town and the main sights. The place is private and peaceful, a good fit for couples, nature lovers, or anyone wanting to slow down. You wake to birdsong and misty mornings, with lovely views over the forest and mountains. The food was fresh, full of local flavor, and well prepared. Eating with that view made it even better. The staff were warm and attentive, and helped with transport, local tips, hikes, and meals. Everything went smoothly and felt personal. The accommodation is thoughtfully designed to sit naturally among the greenery. Rooms are spacious, clean, well equipped, and well maintained. If you want a scenic, memorable stay away from the crowds when visiting Ella, I highly recommend it.

A fantastic place to stay, surrounded by natural beauty. If you like a quiet spot, this resort is a good choice. The main downside is that it takes 45 minutes to get to Ella city.

The kind lady’s cooking was delicious, and the location is beautiful. The lady and the rest of the staff were so warm and kind that we felt at home. We loved hiking and taking the kids to the natural pool. The whole stay was the best part of my Sri Lanka trip, and we were very pleased with the experience.

The people here are amazing! 🙏 It’s a lovely spot near Ella to relax, enjoy nature and have some famous rice and curries. It’s also a good base for treks. I highly recommend it ☺️

A real home away from home, thanks to the great management and warm hospitality. The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly, and the service was excellent. The location was spectacular too. We had an amazing stay and will be back. Put it on your travel bucket list. 🙏🙏
