The hosts were really friendly and helpful. They drove us to different places when we asked, using their car or tuk tuk, and even took us to the railway station at the end. We stayed for two days and would happily stay here again if we return to Ella. The rooms were clean and cozy, with mosquito nets over all the beds, and the view was breathtaking in both rain and sunshine. Since it’s outside the exact center, it was quiet at night, but still easy to reach Ella center in under 15 minutes on foot or by tuk tuk. A fantastic experience.

The rooms are a little small, but clean and manageable for a family of 2+1. The price was affordable and included a superb breakfast, so it was worth every penny. The owner was genuinely caring and hospitable, and even offered to let me charge my EV on the property when I asked, though I didn’t use the offer. It’s in a nice location.

We got a room at short notice after another place let us down. The husband and wife who own it were incredibly helpful, arranging breakfast and giving us tips for our onward travel. Our room looked out over lovely scenery, and there’s a rooftop terrace for sunrise views. It’s a 10-15 minute walk into town. The owner can take you in his tuk-tuk, though the road is safe to walk up, even in the dark if you stay observant.

The sunrise views from the balcony and rooftop are stunning, definitely worth getting up for. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Ella town, while still being off the main road. This family-run place has really hospitable owners who are kind and helpful.
