The views at Moi Hotel were stunning, and the place felt luxurious without losing its child-friendly feel. Thoughtful design and high-tech features made everything comfortable. Laheer, the Guest Relations Manager, was especially wonderful and went out of the way to make our holiday memorable. We were impressed by the value and would happily recommend it.

It’s tucked away and wonderfully peaceful, with a spectacular sunrise and mountain views. Ella is about 30 minutes away by TukTuk up and down the mountain, which was no problem once we had a good driver’s contact. The team made us feel at home every time, and we really enjoyed the breakfast, drinks, and food.

We caught sight of the sunrise and peacocks flying between the trees, with beautiful scenery all around the hotel. The infinity pool has an incredible view, and our room was spacious and extremely clean. Staff were courteous, and both dinner and breakfast looked lovely and tasted delicious. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night, though the place deserved a longer visit. The hosts were genuinely warm and took good care of our family, and the quiet, unhurried atmosphere made the time feel special. Everywhere you look there are green hills and lovely views. Even a month later, I still want to return to the peaceful beauty of Ella. Moi Ella, in the tranquil heart of Sri Lanka, is somewhere I’d gladly visit again and recommend for a nature getaway.

The staff made us feel welcome throughout, and manager Jerry deserves special thanks for his guidance and hospitality. From our room we could watch a magical sunrise over misty hills, with peacocks nearby. The infinity pool was a dream to relax in. Moi Ella combines modern comfort with traditional Sri Lankan charm, all in a gorgeous mountain setting.
