Eagle View villa

The room was big and clean, and breakfast was very good. The owner was warm and kind. I loved the sunrise view, though you’ll have to get up early to catch it.

A quiet spot with just a few rooms, birdsong, and an amazing view from morning until sunset. You can sit on the terrace in nature instead of being in town, without the traffic, horns, or restaurants along the small street. The host is super professional, the rooms are top quality, and breakfast is great. There’s a fantastic temple within walking distance, and you can start uncrowded jungle hikes right from here. Visari waterfall is also a beautiful walk, about a 10-minute drive away, though it’s too far for most people staying in town. For a couple of days in the Ella area, this would be my first choice again. Carlo & Katja

I stayed at Eagle View Villa, Ella with guests who had come from Holland through Aayu Lanka Travels, and we all had a wonderful time. The service was excellent, with attentive, friendly staff who kept making sure we were comfortable. The property was clean, spacious, and well maintained. What really makes it special is the scenery: green hills stretching into the distance, mist moving across the mountains in the morning, and beautiful sunsets from the balcony and outdoor areas. It’s peaceful and surrounded by nature, a lovely place to unwind and enjoy Ella. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

We slept better here than anywhere else on our trip, with two especially good nights. It’s quiet, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and high standard. The location and view are amazing. Ella is a 30-minute tuk tuk ride away, but that suited us since Ella can get chaotic. There are waterfalls on the way, so you can combine the ride with some sightseeing.
