Larn's villa.

The owners made us feel comfortable and at home, and served really tasty food made locally. The rooms were clean and nice, with hot water and international TV; the pool was clean too, and the courtyard was spacious with sunbeds. The beach was only a couple of steps away. This was probably the best experience of our three-week trip around Sri Lanka. Thanks for the hospitality!

Kind owners, delicious food, and just a short walk from the beach.

The host was rude and the last night became a frightening, terrible experience. We had an early airport departure and couldn't eat breakfast, so we asked not to be charged for it. He wasn't happy and asked whether we could go stay somewhere else that final night. We stayed four nights. The pool was clean and nice, and the beach is nearby but wasn't clean. Our room was very small and old, and needs updating. It wasn't cleaned during our stay, and the hot water didn't work properly. There was no fridge, no outside handle on the balcony door, and the air conditioning was very old. Breakfast was English only. Dinner portions were very small, with little choice, just fried rice and a few dishes, and sadly no local food. I can't recommend this place.

A cozy, very clean spot right by the beach. The owner and family are helpful and look after what you need, and they're excellent cooks too. The rooms aren't especially modern, but they do the job.
