OYO 264 The Ocean Resort

We loved our stay, especially the huge pool and lawns, which were a real advantage for travelling with teenagers. The morning, afternoon, and evening entertainment was a nice extra: water gymnastics, a cooking class, and karaoke. Our family of four had a suite that worked perfectly for us. It was spacious, beautifully presented, well equipped, and had good AC, plenty of amenities, a bathroom with jacuzzi, and a huge balcony overlooking the sea. We even got some fruit in the room. The staff were warm, polite, and exceptional. The location is fantastic, right on a peaceful, relaxing beach. The food was excellent, especially the srilankan dishes, and they could cook something separately if they didn’t have what you liked.

The birthday arrangements for my daughter were such a lovely surprise for her. She loved every detail, and it made her day extra special. The warm, caring staff helped make our visit so memorable. We went to Citrus Waskaduwa last weekend and had a wonderful time as a family. The pool was fantastic, the food was delicious, and our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The atmosphere was relaxing. Thanks to the whole team for the hospitality. We truly enjoyed the visit and look forward to coming back.

We came on the 14th of April for a full-board stay and had a relaxing, satisfying visit. The rooms, meals, and staff service were all good, and the stay felt worth the price. The breakfast buffet had more variety than lunch or dinner, though the food quality was high across all meals and everything was enjoyable. The restaurant flies were a bit disturbing during meals, and paying more attention to them would improve the experience in the lovely surroundings. Some bathroom items, including conditioner, a dental kit, slippers, and face wash, weren’t there at first. Staff promptly brought them when we asked. It wasn’t a major issue, but may be useful to address for future stays.

The lunch buffet was a pleasure, with tasty dishes and an impressive, nicely arranged dessert selection. Prabath, Hansani, Shashi, and Chamod were friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Sandaru, Reservations Supervisor. A very enjoyable meal.
