I had the place to myself for a one-night stop during Covid, but the people still brought me fresh juice, dinner, and a good breakfast. They seemed very sweet, and I enjoyed my stay. The property is lovely and wonderfully peaceful, though it's away from the beaten path and not on the beach. The pool is small but does the job. I can imagine a big family or a company renting the whole place to spend quality time together.

The food was superb, and the host was a delight. He's a Sri Lankan film celebrity and shared fun stories from his work coordinating fights in Sri Lankan cinema. The place is quiet and tucked away, with a great pool beside a nice lawn. Rooms are spacious and clean, with bathroom amenities and hot water.

We'd stayed at Dhammika Magic Palace two years ago, and chose it again for New Year this time. The hotel is very quiet, clean, and surrounded by natural jungle. It's 2.2 km from the ocean shore, about a 7-minute tuk-tuk ride to Wadduwa beach, which is mostly the best beach in West-South Sri-Lanka. It's wide and not crowded, and you can see local fishermen catching fish. Rooms have everything needed. Host Dhammika is friendly and willing to help with any request. The restaurant serves local food cooked with care.

Dhammika is a humble, sweet gentleman who loves a good conversation and really wants guests to have a lovely stay. We had a wonderful time at Dhammika and his Magic Place, and the food was delicious. I recommend it very much!

The garden is lovely, the pool is new, and our room was big and clean. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are friendly. We were happy here and want to come back. Highly recommend it!
