Scam! I paid the higher room price for air conditioning, then was told I had to pay extra for the remote after I’d already paid. I left and would tell everyone to avoid this place. If you do go, make sure you get the remote beforehand!

We booked a room, but when we reached the guest house, there was no water in the rooms, so we didn’t stay. It’s more like a home stay, since the owner lives on the property. The beach in front isn’t accessible, and this property isn’t a resort.

Caretaker Mr.Siriwardana is very helpful and kind, and owner Mr. Mumthaj is helpful too. The rooms and bathrooms are new and clean, with hot water. It’s a five-minute walk to Polhena beach, a safe place for a sea bath, and Madihe beach, popular with surfers, is just a few minutes away.

Lovely, respectful people, and a clean room and bathroom with towels. My room had a fan and a nice ocean view. I paid 2.4k :) Thank you, friends!
