Lakraj Heritage Hotel

That natural seawater rock pool was incredible for a swim, and the Indian Ocean views are beautiful. Such a quiet beachfront place, with a calm, relaxing feel. Perfect for unwinding down south. I'll definitely come back!

The family room cost us 28k with breakfast, but they wouldn't provide food for our 3 year old. The hotel also refused when we asked, even though we had booked a family room. The parents ended up sharing their own food with the kids. I found that inhumane, and I don't recommend this place. There were cockroaches in the rooms, which was the worst part. The rooms themselves were okay for the price, but breakfast was average. There's no beach access, though there is a stone made natural pool kind of thing. Restaurant food was absurdly expensive, and the hotel doesn't allow visitors to bring outside food and eat it near the beach. I wouldn't order from the restaurant. A nearby restaurant had good food at reasonable prices instead.

You get a fantastic sea view from the hotel, and there's a safe bay for swimming while you listen to the waves. The staff were courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean, with beautiful scenery around them.

The view and location are breathtaking, and the staff are friendly, but the service could be more efficient. We arrived well past check-in time and still waited two hours for our room. A few changes could make this a top tier hotel in the area. The room had only two flat pillows, so a few extra would help. The towels were worn out and need replacing. The furniture looked old and dirty, especially the table and chairs on the deluxe room balcony.
