I loved this place, and it's sad that it closed down. If someone renovates it in the “old style” and opens it again, I'm sure they'll make a fortune. Sri Lankan investors, give it a push and bring it back!

It's a great place to unwind, with nice music in the bar at night and a great breakfast. The hotel is right beside the ocean, and you can see the water from the room and walk straight through the hotel to the beach. There's also a nice pool. The hotel is quite old, maybe 20 years, so expect an old room and decent AC that doesn't cool much, but that should be okay.

Palm village resort sits by the seashore with a pleasant view. You can play on the beach, come back for a shower, then jump in the pool. It's an awesome spot for time with family and friends. Food and drinks are available and taste good, while evening DJ music and beach volleyball add to the fun.

It's been closed for quite a while and is for sale, with a full refurbishment needed. The location is fabulous, and Uswetakeiyawa is really starting to move ahead. It would be great to see the hotel brought back to life.

This iconic hotel and landmark building in Uswetakeiyawa, Sri lanka used to operate successfully as a 3star hotel, attracting many local and foreign guests and visitors. It's no longer in business, and it's closed now, with no visible repairs. The location near the beach is nice. I hope it opens again very, very soon.
