The access roads were the main issue. The hotel has 2 or 3 access roads, but none were in good condition, and the road to the main entrance was under construction. Still, the outdoor swimming pool was stunning, the rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed on last 20th December, and had a great experience overall. Recommended!

We found an amazing deal on bookings.com, lower than the standard rates, and everything was as described at Booking.com. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly with good service. It’s good value for money. This isn’t a place for people looking for a luxury holiday. It’s away from the busy roads, near Weerawila lake, and has a very peaceful, calm atmosphere.

The pool wasn’t clean, and the rooms need to be tidied and cleaned. This place could do better with a proper Manager. It’s also not close to Kataragama or Yala, both are a 30min drive away.

Please don’t go. I stayed for two days, and it was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. They served the same variety of food for breakfast the next day, the rooms weren’t clean, and neither was the bathroom. The view is good and the location isn’t bad, but the food tasted bad and the customer service was the worst. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The staff did a great job, especially with customer service. The rooms were comfortable, the food was good, and we enjoyed the lake view. A good place to spend a holiday near Yala.
