Ceylon Surf Guest and Restaurant

We booked at the last minute and were very happy with the stay. The ocean is only a few steps away, and surfboards are available to rent. They also offered diving: pickup and return to the accommodation were included, and the full adventure cost €60 per person, which felt very affordable. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained, with both air conditioning and a fan. Breakfast was delicious, and when we asked for more, they kindly gave us extra at no charge. I’d recommend the place to everyone.

Ceylon Surf was a lovely place for a solo stay. My room was clean and had air conditioning, and I really enjoyed breakfast. Someone was always at the desk when I needed help. The desk guys booked me a snorkelling trip to see sea turtles in Mirissa and even gave me a lift there on a bike. The location is perfect for surfing. The road can be noisy, though that’s true all along the beachfront. Thanks, guys!

The owners were very helpful and didn’t seem to be trying to take advantage of foreigners, which I really appreciated. The hotel is good for its location and rooms, and breakfast was decent too.

For a reasonable price, you get a comfortable bed in a central spot right across from the beach. The rooms look fairly new and are quite nice, though they didn’t feel very clean to me. I noticed a dusty smell and spider webs on the walls. Apart from that, it was pretty decent value.
