Co-Living Memories Hostel & Restaurant

It feels like home as soon as you arrive. I love this place and the people who run it: the staff treat you like family, and we actually became friends. We keep coming back, sometimes for breakfast and sometimes just to unwind with a cold beer. They offer bed and breakfast, and the breakfast alone is worth a visit. Prasana and his sister make excellent omelettes and sunny-side-up eggs, and their fresh avocado is always just right. The fresh juices are a lovely extra, and the mango smoothie bowl was out of this world. The rooms are clean, roomy and comfortable. A true hidden gem!

We spent three weeks here and felt completely at home. It’s in a great spot that isn’t too touristy, and Shamila and her brothers are lovely and helpful. The breakfast was awesome, and the place was super clean. I’d absolutely come back!

We got a private room with air conditioning and hot water at an excellent price. It was the cheapest nearby, yet by far the cleanest, most comfortable and best place I’ve stayed so far here. The hostel is great, the neighbourhood is calm and local, and the beach is just a ten-minute walk away.

Our stay at Memories was amazing. We had a lovely room with a big bed, and after weeks without one, we finally got a hot shower. It’s a family-run hostel, and they made us feel like part of the family. They’re great, and breakfast was lovely too.
