We felt at home thanks to how warmly the staff welcomed us. The food was so fresh and full of flavor. A lovely local place to try if you’re nearby.

We kept coming back every day once we found this place. The food was the best we had in Weligama, by far, and it costs less than most spots since it’s away from the main streets. The sweetest older lady makes everything fresh and somehow has you feeling like she’s your grandma the moment you meet. It’s about a 10-minute walk, and absolutely worth it. Must try!

For a proper local meal in Weligama, I can’t recommend this rice and curry spot enough. The taste and value are fantastic, and the food and prices are local. Iendrani is a wonderfully welcoming hostess, and her dishes are delicious. Since she prepares everything fresh to order herself, expect a little wait. It’s just off the main road and easy to find.

We felt safe and very welcome here. The owner is such a kind, lovely woman, and the guesthouse restaurant serves delicious food. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the surroundings quiet, and there are a few very good restaurants nearby.
