Wake N Flow

The rooftop is a lovely place to spend time, with a small menu from the basic kitchen, plenty of charging sockets, and a very chill feel. Nobody minds if you hang out there for hours. There are lounge areas on every floor, and the Wi-Fi worked well throughout. The staff are friendly, and the place felt very safe. It was also handy to leave my luggage and have one last shower before going to the airport. Their airport taxi costs 22k, compared with the 24k I’d arranged with a PickMe driver. My six-bed mixed dorm was spacious, and I appreciated having a desk and chair for small bags while I reorganized. Everything was clean, though it may not look that way because the place could use an upgrade. Replacing the shower heads and sink faucets would especially help it feel fresher. The yoga was fantastic, thanks to Birdy and Alice, who are divine instructors. The cleaning ladies were also very sweet and always smiling, and I enjoyed hanging out and sleeping with the adorable puppies. The room balconies were nice, and the pool was good to have, though it was dirty. The rooftop café seemed to be open only about 40% of the time. The room was shabby and not very clean. The bathroom smelled like sewage the whole time, and there appeared to be black mold on the walls and something that looked like blood on one area. The pictures are deceptive and don’t show the property’s current condition. The desk staff were unprofessional, and Tooshie was actually rude, making us uncomfortable with her attitude and unfriendly vibe. The place needs fresh paint and better staff training in professionalism and welcoming hospitality. It was rough, and definitely wasn’t marketed as a dirty, dirty hostile. We couldn’t wait to leave. There are much nicer places nearby for similar prices. This one is right by train tracks, with a loud train and horns going by constantly, including all night, around 40 feet from your bed. There were tons of crazy sounds all night. I’m honestly not sure how it has good reviews. Maybe they’re old, or from very young new travelers with zero standards and zero budget. We get that, but this was beyond rough.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay twice. My friend and I had a private room that was clean and had everything we needed. The upstairs café was a chill spot with great food, and having a pool was a bonus. It’s close to the beach and nice restaurants. Shoutout to Reza for putting together the best events and bringing everyone together, and to the friendly reception and housekeeping staff!

It’s practical, functional, and has a nice vibe, though nothing about it is especially astonishing. People and service seemed happy and looked good. There’s a large common area, a pool, and a few rusty gym bars and dumbbells. You can use the shared kitchen or kitchen service, and there’s an early morning yoga class. They also arrange bicycle and scooter rentals with another shop. Beds have little curtains. They could invest more in the common space and atmosphere to make this a more striking place.
